“You never thought that hip hop would take it this far.” ~Notorious BIG
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY I have a certain amount of pride when I hear the words “hip hop”. It takes me back to break dancing and boom boxes on a hot summer day in the Flatbush section of BK. I’ve grown up since then and so has hip hop, but the words stay with me and continue to have an impact on how I live personally and professionally.
“Ain’t nobody dope as me, i’m just so fresh…so fresh and so clean, clean.~Outkast
