Affirmation of the Day: I do my research and then act confidently

In my life as an Operations Manager, there has been times that I let the behavior that folks have displayed in the past dictate what I should always expect from them (not necessarily in a positive light).  I had two guys who work for me with the same first name; let’s call them Mike.  One Mike could be a pain in the butt at times.

One day someone came to me and said, “Mike had a quality issue.”  I immediately thought of the Mike that usually causes trouble and began cursing him in my mind, “what has he done this time?” I got the scene of the “crime” only to find out it was the other Mike who was involved in the situation.

Shame on me for assuming and blaming without knowing the full story.

Question of the Day: When was the last time you acted harshly without having all the facts?

Action of the Day: Slow down, gather the facts, then go all out.

Run the Point, from where you are, with what you have!

Your Ambassador,

Mike Bruny
